    Unable to convert

    I am having problems trying to convert my cd's.
    The program was working but no longer does.
    I uninstalled and d/l lastest off site but still have issues.
    here is the error messages:

    The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track21.cda' could not be opened.
    Unable to access CD Drive 'G:\Track21.cda'
    The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track01.cda' could not be opened.
    Unable to access CD Drive 'G:\Track01.cda'
    The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track02.cda' could not be opened.
    Unable to access CD Drive 'G:\Track02.cda'
    The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track03.cda' could not be opened.
    Unable to access CD Drive 'G:\Track03.cda'
    The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track04.cda' could not be opened.
    Unable to access CD Drive 'G:\Track04.cda'
    The CODEC required to decompress 'G:\Track05.cda' could not be opened.

    I am running on windows xp sp2 and have admin rights.
    I d/l the codecs from the site and installed them so they are there. gspot shows the codecs installed w/ no problems.
    so not sure whats going on.
    Oh and the cds play in windows media player.

    Have you checked your dMC CD Audio Configuration options? What are they set to? Does the dMC Configuration window show all the codecs as being installed. What version of dMC have you got installed (e.g. latest beta)?

    Have you tried adjusting the Standard CD Player Emulation option within dMC Audio CD Input prior to ripping CDs?

      i'm having the same problem - the program used to work, and now does not.
      although, i'm just trying to decompress a flac file...
      i also tried reinstalling the newest version, but that is no help.
      similar error message about the coded could not be opened.

      i don't get it..
