    SHN codec issue

    Hi,

I have the SHN codec, and it's worked fine for the past few weeks. But now I am trying to use it on files and it keeps saying the Codec required to decompress the files cannot be opened. Any ideas? I am positive the files have a .shn extension, and I am positive the codec has worked previously.

    Thanks!

Run a test conversion (use the Test Conversion codec in dMC) and see what happens.

And what are you trying to convert your .shn files to?

I tried doing a test conversion like you said, and I cancelled it after a minute and 40 seconds because it was still at 0%. I have been trying to convert it to wav, and I just tried mp3 just to see if it would work. Not only did the mp3 conversion not work, but now when I try to convert to wav again it doesn't even die after 10 seconds like it did yesterday...now it just keeps running like the test conversion did. Ugh! Any other ideas? Should I maybe just try reinstalling DBP?
