Can't change folder the music is ripped to

When I rip a CD, my music files are sent to the wrong folder and I can't get dB to accept the right folder. Is there something I can do to correct this?

You mean you cannot change the folder in dMC Audio CD Input Options?

What version of dMC do you have? Look in dMC Configuration.

Yeah, that's right. I go to options in dMC Audio CD inputs and I can't change the folder. I click "set", then select the folder that I want. However, the name of the folder in the options menu doesn't change. I can input the file path (e.g. C:/Documents/My Music/Tom Waits). I just upgraded to the most recent version, dMC 11. I didn't have this problem with the previous version.

Get release 11.1 (beta forum) - it has fixed this problem and many others. http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=6740

im having the same problem. when i try to change the file path to where i want the music ripped to, it either does nothing or doesn't go to the right one. i cant simply just get it to go to the one i want. right now im just copying and pasting it to where i want it once its done, but thats a hassle. i updated to the beta, but that didn't do anything.

Did you reboot? It's supposed to work.

Do your flac files have id tags? Which ones?
FLAC uses either Ogg Tags, or ID3 tags
Mp4 requires special manipulation as fas as I know. Not sure what applies to you.

AAC audio into, or from a Mp4 Container (without quality loss)

                Download AAC >> Mp4 & Mp4 >> AAC Codec 347 KB
                Notes
Install mp4 & aac decoder to ID preserve tags.
Requires Release 10 or higher of dBpowerAMP Music Converter.
Please paste here a copy of your dMC Configuration (copied to your clipbboard) - you will get that facility if you installed the beta version properly.

Also the latest mp4 codec from the beta section is better, as it has more modern codecs and encoders and decoders in one download (it will be going to full release this weekend).

Thanks everyone. Updating my copy to the beta version solved the problem. It's working perfectly at the moment.
