Album Covers in ID3 Tags

Hi,

Can someone please tell me where in the ID3 tags are album covers stored? Can I tell if an MP3 has an album cover by looking at the Tags?

I know that if I play it in Windows Media Player the album cover will be displayed.

Any help on Album Covers and MP3s will be appreciated.

I understand that covers are not supported now.

I just want to learn about album covers in general.

1) Exactly where are they stored?

2) How can I tell if an MP3 has album covers (other that using WMP).

3) How can I tell the size of the cover?

4) How can I delete the cover?

I am just looking for info. Maybe someone can refer me to a site containing info on album covers in MP3 files.
