Cannot convert mp3 to audio CD

This is driving me crazy-- this program worked fine before I actually downloaded the registered copy of the program, and now I'm getting problems. First of all, I'm using the DbpowerAMP Music Converter. I select my mp3's, and choose to convert them to a music CD. Every track I attempt to convert comes back with a error like this:
The output file 'C:\Program Files\BitComet\Downloads\2003 - Songs For The Deaf\CD1\15 - Everybody's Gonna Be Happy.IGNORE' could not be opened.
I have NO CLUE where that ".IGNORE" is coming from, but I'm assuming that's my problem. These files play fine, and can be converted to WAV's, I can ever run a test conversion with no problem.
Another thing: When I go to run these conversions, I get pop-up telling me my powerAMP writer license has expired-- would that cause this error? If that's the case, is there a way to convert the files with powerAMP, and use a program like Nero to burn the CD?
Just so you know, I'm running Windows XP SP2, I have a DVD-RW. I'm really aggravated by this, I hope someone can help!

Why aren't you using the cd writer program?

And ar eyou making an audio cd or an mp3 cd? That would involve a reconversion to mp3 fro which you need the license.

But perhaps you never installed correctly the registered version of dMC? Did you reboot?

Run dMC Configuration and see what it says.

Sounds like your problem is related to the fact that the trial period of the dBpowerAMP CD Writer has expired.

Re: Cannot convert mp3 to audio CD

I'm trying to create an audio CD (Like the thread title says). dMC Configuration shows I am registered for Power Pack and mp3 license.
Why I'm I not using the Writer? Because I didn't feel like paying for another program when I assumed that this one would be compatible with Nero!
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program, I'm getting the same errors. If I MUST use the CD Writer, I need to know this. If I don't have to have it, then could someone please tell me how to configure the converter to recognize my other burning program?

IF you want to use nero, convert to wave (everything as CD quality), then create a new cd in nero, drag and drop the files, then burn (not as easy as using dbpoweramps CD writer).

Also, make sure to remove the pauses Nero adds in so the CD you make is closer to the original. Right-click, Properties, set the pause to 0 seconds. It will pop-up an error message when you go to burn, just click "Change settings and burn".
