    Enhanced CD

I am trying to convert a CD to MP3 file for my daughter. it is an enhanced CD with Videos etc on it.

When I open dbpoweramp it finds the CD, but only brings up files, ie CDPlus. Pictures, Xtras. But no where can i find the music files to transfer.

Any one got any ideas how i can find them to convert them.

    Try using Audio CD Input.

I am using version 11 and with Audio CD Input there is no way I can make it see my Enhanced CD. Album: Limp Bizkit Unquestionable Truth part 1.

I do not have access to the CDA tracks.

No, you won't have access to the tracks in any ordinary way. But you must actually play the enhanced cd on your computer and only then can you record the audio from it.

My bad, I had selected the wrong CD device in the Audio CD Input settings.

After you selected the correct drive, have your problems been resolved?

If not, you'll probably have to use Auxiliary Input.

              Re: Enhanced CD

Once I select the drive it works fine.

I think it took literally 1 minute to rip 30 minutes and convert on the 3.4ghz and the 32x driver. Hahah.

However, I have seen Winamp totally unable to play audio from Enhanced CDs, which is why I was not surprised at first, thinking it may be a common plaque among software.

Yes neil, he said it works fine now.
As for getting winamp to play the CD, try right-clicking on the main Winamp window, going to Play, then selecting "Audio CD" and your correct drive. This is one way to play mixed-mode CDs in Winamp. This should also work for like Windows Media Player.
