Spoon, I sent a file under 3MB so I hope it comes through. The files are organized in directories like: \Artist\Album\Songs.
Since Escient does not seem to have a good solution to Fireball/iPod integration and if dMC could be made to work with these files (even without the cover art) it could be a great source of sales of your software. I would venture to guess that virtually all purchasers of Fireballs are likely to have iPods too. Although you can choose to use MP3/320kbps to store files on the Fireball and avoid all this trouble, the FLAC option preserves the integrety of the music and is the preferred storage format IMHO. The better sound quality is the main reason for using the Fireball music server. Although the iPod is a GREAT portable MP3 player, it is not as good of a home music server as the Fireball.
