As for the ASPI error, you should switch to "2000/NT Communication" instead of ASPI. Click the down arrow beside the upper box in "Cd Config" and see if you have any choices there. If you don't, follow these instructions given by ChristinaS in another thread:

Uninstall everything to do with dBpowerAMP from Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

Download fresh copies of everything and reinstall them carefully, all to the same folder, the one that is originally proposed: c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP

Then proceed to configure dMC Audio CD Input as indicated before. Trial and error may be needed to find what works for you.
