"The CODEC required to compress ... could not be opened."

Trying to convert to mp3 and keep getting "The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\"myname"\wav files\Converted files\filename.mp3.TEMP.mp3' could not be opened.

What CODEC do I need and how do I install it?

Check dMC Configuration to see if your trial has run out: Start --> Programs --> dBpowerAMP Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration. It should say there if your trial has run out or how long you have left.
If you trial has run out, you will not be able to encode to mp3 unless you purchase the PowerPack. This is because Spoon has to pay a lisence fee for every mp3 encoder his program has. More info about this is in dMC's help file.
If you trial has not run out, what type of file are you trying to convert to mp3.
