MP4-ACC error message

someone help when I try to convert a file to MP4 it converts up to about 8 percent then I get a microsoft error message. N E one got any tips.

Does it do this with any type of file? What type of source file are you using? What OS do you have? Can you convert your original file to another format without trouble?

im running xp. yes i can convert to anything else just not MP4. i can convert it to another format with no problem. souce of the file is from a audio cd

Do you mean you are rippping directly to mp4 or did you first rip to wav and now trying to convert wav to mp4?

What are the specs of the input file and the output file?

And which mp4 codec are you using?

yeah im trying to convert wave to MP4. I have little to no clue what u are talking about as far as input and output file. Codec i dont know what you are talking about but if you tell me how to find out i will let u know.
