Is it possible to convert .mpg to .mp4 with dBpowerAMP?
Please help. Thanks. :D
Actually the question is:
Can dBpowerAMp read .mpg ?
The answer is "maybe" depending on what audio codec was used for its soundtrack. If you don't have that particular audio codec then it's no.
I would recommend Video Cleaner from www.riverpast.com where you can convert the .mpg to .wmv. After that you can use dMC to convert the .wmv to perhaps .wav and subsequently to anything else. You may be able to convert directly from .wmv to your final format, you'll have to experiment.
You'll of course need all the various codecs for decoding and for encoding.
The free version of Video Cleaner is OK if you don't need the video part of your converted file, since it will have stamp appearing on the image. The audio however will be fine.
