Trying to create standard audio cd

The 9 .wav tracks selected show as either 10 second or 1.68 Mb files on the dBpowerAMP CD Writer screen regardless of the actual size of the tracks that were selected. The tracks were copied from various CDs to my hard drive and all play on any player that I use.want to write to the CD. If I play a track from the dBpowerAMP screen the 10 seconds that play are not the music from the selected tracks even though the names are correct. When written to the CD the 10 seconds that play are not from the selected tracks.
    I am stumped.

What is the bitrate, frequency, and channels of your WAVs? Are they compressed?

Check that no DSP effects are running (such as set length)
