Is it necessary to have the real alternative to decode the real audio files using direct show codec?
cant the real player v10 be used if u already have it installed?
do u Have to download and install the real alternative to use the direct show real audio codec??

I think you need to install Real Alternative as this is the only way you can install the Real Audio Direct Show filter unless you can obtain it separately as I do not think that it comes with the Real Player.
