RTF Format not supported

I recently ran across a music file listed as xxxx.rtf. I could not find anything out there to convert this music format to any conventional format, such as mp3, wma or even ogg. What is this format and how can I convert it ???? I got if from Simplemp3s.com downloading "vivian green advanced" misic files. I see no codecs that even come colse to naming this format ?!?!?!? :vmad: Help please

.rtf is a file that holds text. It stands for Rich-Text format. Try renaming this file to .mp3 or something similar. If you cannot see the extension, go into Folder Options --> "Hide extensions for known file types" and uncheck it and click OK. Now try changing the extension to .mp3 or .wma or .wav. What is the size of this file, also?
