    registered, but stating not registered

I downloaded the registration file for dmc Poweramp convertor and ran the install. However it is still stating that my registration is set to expire. How do I correct this?

Uninstall the program, clean out the registry (instructions here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=6828) and then reinstall the registered version.

FYI: the exact message, not a generalization.

You know, it is much easier to simply install a crack than it is to register this software legitimately. I followed the directions from the link of the first reply, did not work.

I purchased dBpowerAMP Music Converter 'Power Pack' & Mp3 Encoder License

and the subsequent file that was downloaded is named dMC-r11-Registered.exe. After running the installation, my dmc configuration looks like

however, after closing the configuration and reopening it, my configuration screen is as follows

Any suggestions on what to do now?

I attempted encode files and an information box pops up stating that dmc is unregistered and the trial has expired.

Nope, it's just for those who'd rather do it that way. Besides, ascribner is right, for a lot of people it seems like it would be easier to crack the software as opposed to actually paying and registering. The registration process for a lot of people seems very troublesome. It worked for me just fine, but when you see this many complaints about the downloads and the registration info, you know something is wrong.

I have tried to keep the registration locks as fair use as possible (the registered install is not time limited or locked to a single PC that requires internet verification (such as Microsoft Activation, now that irritates me).

Firstly, no offense meant there Spoon in my last post.
I don't question in the least that the system is 'fair.' I just tried last week (for S's & G's) to see if I could use the retrieval system, and it worked for me. So the whole idea of being able to retrieve without a time limit is nice, it just seems users are having problems right off the bat after they pay with being able to access the software that they paid for. I would have been pretty darn unhappy had I had to wait 2-3 weeks for download/my info to show up in the DB. Or even if I had had to get on here, email, wait, then download. I'm kind of a 'right now,' person when it comes to paying/retrieving online.

I don't understand.....or maybe it was easy for me because I had an advantage:

Some guy on dMC Support Forums bought me PowerPack and I JUST got registered. It was fairly easy. I clicked on the link. It downloaded. I opened the setup file. I installed. I installed the beta. And I"m done. What's so hard about it? People around me are having all these weird registration problems when all I had to do was click a link....or maybe it's because ________ went thru the purchasing procedure for me?
