    converting problems!

    I bought the registered version of music converter. When I try to convert an MP3 it says

    The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\Kev\Desktop\atmosphere.mp3' could not be opened.
    Error creating mp3 compressor.

    Please help!

      Look in the options menu, make sure (Mp3) Lame is selected in the rip to section.

          Converting to or from mp3?

          Is everything installed to the same folder?

          What are the settings of the input file and what did you request for the output file?

          Mp3 cannot be created for 24-bit files or higher for instance. You have to bring your input file down to 16-bits first, through another conversion.

              Also, if none of the solutions work above, try reinstalling everything to its default locations.
