    dMC & L.A.M.E.

    Hi

I just started 2 play around with dMC r11 and wonder if there is away 2 change 2 another version of the L.A.M.E. encoder. The current one in this release is v3.96 and 2 be honest so dont i wanna use that. I prefer v3.90.3.

I've tested 2 rename and exchange the L.A.M.E DLL a number of time but i just doesn't work :(

I hope that there is a way 2 do this.

Get the encoder called "MP3 Lame.exe Encoder" here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-mp3-lame.htm You can then substitute your own Lame.exe.

          I have replaced in C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Compression\Lame\ the Lame_enc.dll.
After that I changed in C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Versions\Compression\m p3 (Lame).txt the versionnumber in 3.90.3. This is just to show the correct version in dMC Configuration.
This works for me. I don't know why it doesn't work for you

Yes dMC cannot get a version number from lame (most compiles do not have it), so it is just in a text file.
