Marky, what are the chances that you BOUGHT the software? You just admitted to us that you cracked it. DON'T CRACK IT. BUY IT.

D'you know what I do to get by the 30 day trial? I painstakingly reformat my computer with Windows XP! I put myself through the torture (hope Spoon understands) because I can't buy it, but I don't simply CRACK it, I torture myself so I can be rid of self-guilt! (Well, I still have some self-guilt for not getting the Powerpack liscence, but reformatting works, doesn't it?)

<EDIT>Ok, so you're right. That was pretty stupid. Though not quite as bad as callling MS and saying "Hey, I've got a pirated copy of Windows XP, and I <insert problem here...>"

Errr... next time why dont you just try searching the registry for anything that says either dmc, dbpoweramp, or illustrate, remove those keys/values/folders, delete pretty much everything from the C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch (other than the .ini file), delete your %temp% directory, and finally delete the C:\Program Files\Illustrate directory. That would be easier than going through a reformat every 30 days. Besides, if you try it and it doesnt work, then no biggie, you just do the reformat. No loss if youre already reformatting.

Then e-mail him with information like your name and the e-mail you used at the time, along with any other info and, if he can find your order, he'll link you to another registered download.

Edit: Of course, if your using a cracked version, either you don't care to recover a registered download or you aren't supposed to have a registered download.

I'm 15, I can't work. Plus, my parents won't let me work because they say it'll conflict with my homework load....AP classes and stuff..

Save a buck every week from your allowance and in 3 months you'll have enough.

Skip going to a couple of movies or arcades or whatever it is you do for fun.

Ask them for $14! You'd be surprised at what you can get when you just ask nicely.

Re: no sound on .mp3 conversions

I promised to myself that I will get the PowerPack liscence when I turn 16. At the moment, I have 150 dollars (some borrowed from my brother), but alone, I only have $20.25 with me. And this is not money I get from my parents. My parents are not the type who care for me. They impose strict rules that have absolutely no positive effect, they don't let me out of the house so I can hang out with my friends, (that's why I'm always surfing the web at home), I'm not allowed to work because they won't let me, I don't get allowance. The twenty dollars that I got were from performing at the La Jolla Hilton down in the beachside of San Diego.....And that's all the money I've ever earned.

I got the 25 cents from the ground.

And, no, I don't go to the movies, because (1) I don't have money (2) My parents wouldn't let me (3) It would kill my school grade, instantly. And no, I don't do anything fun except (1) playing video games, once a week, for 20 minutes on Saturday. That's it.
