    Cd's not recognized

I have a few Cd's that i've tried to Rip that dMC does not seem to recognize. Windows acnowledges that there is a CD in the drive. OTher programs can play the songs but dMC comes up with a blank screen.

I'm using the current release version and not the beta. Anyone think i should install the beta and try that? or any other suggestions on a possible fix?

Are you able to rip other cd's in dMC Audio CD Input at all or none at all?

Perhaps your cd drive is not set in dMC AUdio CD Input. Go through the big Options button and set it. While you at it check the advanced setting for that, you may have to change the cd communication as well, to a different option.

They could be copy protected too??? (Maybe)???. Try holding down the shift button while you insert the CD.

Also, click the arrow beside options, go to Standard CD Player Emulation and toggle the option on "Table of Contents Detection". Also, try clicking the "Refresh" button in Audio CD Input a few seconds after you insert the CD and windows recognizes it.

Try opening up MusicConverter.exe , look for Drive D: or Drive E: (or whatever letter drive your CD drive is) and convert those CDA files (Hi LtData {edited}! ) to whatever format you wish.

If using the MusicConverter itself works, then you should be able to get Audio CD Input to read these CDs by using the methods described above:
            Changing the CD Drive selected
Changing the Command Set (2000/NT Built-In to 2000/NT Built-In (Limited))
Changing the "Table of Contents Detection" option
Clicking the "Refresh" button after Windows detects the new CD.

I turned off the "table of contents detection" setting and it is now recognizing the few Cd's that it wouldn't before. Thanks for the help all.
