DSP Effects - Loading Files

I have never used the DSP effects in DMC, but now have a batch of wave files that need the bass cutting a little. So I navigated to DSP and selected the Equalizer. Then I clicked load and went to the folder where the audio files I wanted to process are. However, the program does not recognize any of these files (wav).

The only file types listed as being recognized are "dBPowerAmp DSP Selections". What am I doing wrong?

The load in that section is to load a previously save selection of dsp effects - you use DSP effects as you would normally convert files.
