Prof Freq Conversion is an option in my configuration page, it says it will produce better sound quality but convert slower. Is this worth using? What does it do? thanks

This is only useful if you're converting a file that is say, for example, 44.1 khz and you downsample it to 32khz. What Professional Frequency Conversion does is make it sound a little better when you downsample.
At least, that's what I interpreted out of the help files...

Yes, Professional Frequency Conversion is only used when the sampling rate is changed in a conversion, whether it is upsampled or downsampled.Lt. Data
