not opening files on cd

hey all i've had this program working before but after a while of not using it it stops working .
the problem is when it goes to rip the tracks it instantly flies through them with errors saying that it cant open the track im using windows xp with a sony 32x burner ive had it working before but now its just getting angry at me ive had this problem when i was running windows 98 as well the way i've got it to work before is remove dbpoweramp and redownload it. ...... any ideas

Audio CD Input >> Options >> Advanced and try different 'Communication' methods.

different settings didnt help

after changing the settings in the options it still flashes through the tracks with errors of not able to open the track.
The output file 'd:/Sawyer Brown/Greatest Hits 1990-1995 -- 1995\Sawyer Brown - Some Girls Do.mp3' could not be opened. is what it would say every time i tried it and it doesnt matter what cd of mine i try to rip to my harddrive??????? help!!!!!:confused:

What is d:? the CD drive? If it is - in Audio CD Input specify the Output to path on the Options Page.

what d: is

d: is the harddrive that i have my operating system and mp3's in.
f: is my cd drive

Ah the problem is the '/' in the filenames - it should be a '\'
