Can't Rip

Greetings,
I've gone through this before. I bought the program
Downloaded from ITunes, Burned and attempted to rip.
Got:
CODEC decompression error for '\\CdRom\Track01.cda'
Unable to Rip track - make sure correct Ripping method is selected and CD Drive supports digital audio extraction.
Anyone know the solution?

Thanks,
Jack

Re: Can't Rip

Are you using dMC Audio CD Input to rip your cd?

Can you rip any other audio cd's using this program?

Go through the Options and make sure you have the correct drive identified and then the Advanced button next to that drive to seelct the proper CD Communication method. The one there by default may not be suitable for your system. Change to another one. Usually 2000/NT Device IO or 2000/NT Built-in (Limited) may work.

Also the little arrrow next to the Options button > Standard CD Player Emulation > Table of contents detections: toggle it on or off.

Make one change at a time and see what works.
