I think ACM stands for "Audio Compression Manager" and is a program for manipulating low-bitrate wave files such as those used for voice. I don't know of an actual audio format by the name of ACM. Can you play the files in any of the players you have?

When I try open it with winamp say me: "missing codec: unable to open file". however, windows media can open it. I think it´s in ac3 but I installed codec that other member advised me in this forum and dbpoweramp can´t convert it.

You had better look at the actual extension of that file. Enable seeing file extensions for that: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=5361

Then try to play it in Windows Media Player. If it can play it, use File > Properties and see what it says about the file.
