    Problems with AAC IDtag

Both Winamp and WMP are unable to read the IDtags written by dpPowerAmpConverter. Both the "Mp4 & AAC Decoder" and "Psytel AAC Codec" installed. Why?

    Please help.

Check in dMC Configuration (Start --> Programs --> dbPowerAmp Music Converter --> Configuration --> dMC Configuration) and click "ID Tag Options" and try changing the option for AAC tagging.

I only have Id Tag options for Mp3 (!) Something must be wrong here. It converts without any trouble though...

Don't use Psytel. It's slow, buggy and has not been updated in over two years since the developer went to work for Ahead to develop nero's AAC Codec. Use FAAC instead.

Look in the beta section of this forum, a new AAC release.

There is a new m4a codec tomorrow with ALAC lossless decoding integrated natively - it works very well
