    Codec / CD drive problem?

Hi, I have been using dbpoweramp for a while without any problems, then I upgraded to Windows 2000 from Me and reinstalled. Now I get the following error when trying to convert a CD track to mp3:

    CODEC decompression error for '\CdRomTrack07.cda'
Unable to Rip track - make sure correct Ripping method is selected and CD Drive supports digital audio extraction.
I have tried just about every setting I can find, I've paid the licence fee and reinstalled teh CD driver again.

I notice someone else had the same problem, but the thread ended before an answer was given. Any suggestions?

    You could've continued that thread.

Does it work if you don't have the driver installed?

Try Options >> Advanced and select 'NT/2000 (Builtin Limited)'

Look at the similar threads available at the top of this posting.

Does it matter what SP you have on Win2000? I can't remember now, haven't used Win2000 for months....
