    No, this:
Shown after installation and can be recalled at any time from Start >> Programs >> dBpowerAMP Music Converter >> Configuration.
doesn't work because I don't have this entery there..... :thumbdown

So what else can one do to turn it off?

Don't you know what a Tooltip is?
I would like to deactivate it because I don't want my mp3 infos being diplayed like this! poweramp's help says I have to do it in the poweramp's configuration dialog:

To come to this dialog I have to this:
Shown after installation and can be recalled at any time from Start >> Programs >> dBpowerAMP Music Converter >> Configuration.
BUT, I don't have this entry there!
SO my question is what can I do instead to turn this f"/$%&"!ยง tooltp off.

      thx in advance.

        reinstall dMC to C:\Program Files\Illustrate\

then go to Start >> Programs >> dBpoweramp Music Converter >> Configuration >> dMC Configuration and NOW you should be able to change it.

i don't understand how this problem could even have happened in the first place... Did you install to a non-default location like D: or E: or F: ?
