    CDA Files

Some friends of mine had recorded music to tape some years ago. It has since been converted to CD.

Afew of the tracks have been sent to me thru internet, but I cannotconvert themm.

The converter's reply. "CDA files can only be converted from a CD drive not a hard drive"
Would this mean that I need the CD its-self to convert rather than do it thru a forward ?
    Any help is appreciated... Thanks...:headbang:

Yes, you actually need the CD. The .cda files are just a way of representing CD tracks in Windows Explorer - they're not the actual tracks.
