Installed both snd codecs - "Codecs not Found"

I'm running XP pro and on another machine W2K and can not convert .snd fiiles. I have been able to convert cda to mp3.

The first error is that the file in not an Au/SND file and then a second error is displayed that the codec could not be opened.

I have tried reinstalling both codecs. I have tried different snd sources. No luck!

There appears to be only one codec for .au and .snd files which is available here http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-au.htm

Is this the codec you are refering to? Does it appear in the list of installed codecs when you launch the dMC Configuration program/shortcut?

What is the exact wording of the error message you are getting? What is the source of these au/snd files?

I also installed the "Dalet Radio Automation" codec because that had a .snd extension.
If I open explorer, without right clicking anything, a popup appears saying "Not an Au/Snd file". These files are from a Foreign Language cd. If I open dMC first the au/snd codecs are listed but clicking on the file I still get "not an Au/Snd file and the following error:

"The CODEC required to decompress 'F:CHI09_07CH0907SCH090701.SND' could not be opened."

The dalet .snd is really a mpg codec, uninstall that one.
