Using the DBPowerAmp Music Converter without powerpack

Hi, I've been using the music converter for a long time now. I finally tried the trial version of Power Pack and the trial time expired. Now I can't use the music converter on it's own at all without the registration required box coming up. I choose not to use the powerpack. I uninstalled and removed everything concerning Illustrate and dbpoweramp. I then re-download and try to use it, yet still get the registration required box. How can I get the freeware music converter back in use once again? I've tried the re-downloading process over and over numerous times........ same thing happens. Thanks for any input........
    Feel free to email me

    thanks,
    Steve

You'll need to track down an earlier version of dMC as the latest version comes with the powerpack (it is no longer separate).

This is a result of the licencing issues regarding dMC's ability to encode MP3 files. Unless you register the powerpack you will no longer be able to use dMC to create MP3 files.

If it has expired there will be no message unless you try to create a mp3 file.
