problems with sony memory stick players

ok this seems like the best place to ask as sony are no help what so ever

i have a sony nw-ms9 player and the very nice white 64mb mem stick i then went and chence the web sites and got told that the dark blue magic gate high speed ones will work but to be sure i went in to the shop to check and that said yes as wel

so i get my new 128 m stick and supprise supprise i get a error msg when ever i try to put songs on it

i cnt put attachments on so heres a link to the pic that i took

This is not really the right forum for your problem Can you find a Sony users forum? If not, I would go to the nearest store that sells your excat device and ask for their comments/recommendation.

its not pro and i cnt find a sony forum there realy crap when it comes to help so i thort id ask you it dnt matter im going to go to the shop 2moro anyway this just very anoying that you get told it will work from a varity of different sources then get it and it dnt work

Notice that it says all Memory Stick PRO's work with that player. If your Memory Stick is not a "Memory Stick PRO" then you shouldn't expect it to work. Sorry. :(

no if u look all pro sticks will not work they have jsut a x in it and if u look that means not compatable look at the bottem table the white ones work and have a x wiv a circle the blueones i have been told work and have the same x wiv a circle but dnt

Ahh, OK, I forgot to scroll down. But since you DON'T have a memory stick PRO, you cannot put any DRM-protected songs on it, as the chart says.

no you can all you need is magic gate as the white stick shows thats the one that came wiv the player but the problem is solved now sony gave me a falty memory stick and have exchanged it so now its working fine and i canonce again lissen to the fantastic sounds of this player thank you for the info tho
