CD/DVDROM an CD R drives locked up

used Music Converter to convert CDs to MP3.
Now neither drive available to play CDs.
Get error message "access to specified device,
path, or file is denied". I want my drives back!
In Windows Media Player message is "Cannot
play back the file. The format is not supported".
Both drives still work on data CDs. Help

I can't think of any way in which using DMC would cause that. If you are on Windows XP, I suggest you try a system restore (in safe mode) to a time at which your drives were both working.
