Re: how do i convert mp3 files to CD audio track files?
You need to use a CD burning program to burn an "Audio CD".Originally posted by tracyi need to convert my music so it can be played with a cd player
Also, you cannot "make" .cda files, as they just point to the audio file's location on the CD.Lt. Data

Tracy, just to add a little to LtData's response, almost all CD burning programs will make the conversion from mp3 files automatically when you select "make a music CD."Originally posted by tracyi need to convert my music so it can be played with a cd player
With a few very early burning programs you have to convert the files yourself first from mp3 to wave format. The wave format settings you need are 16-bit, 44,100Hz, stereo.....no other format/settings will make a music CD.Comment
