    no filters found..

    New to this system...
Trying to convert Real Player ram files to mp3.
looks like it's converting but I see where the kb's are only like 2 or 3....
Then when I try to play in the Win. Media Player, I get an error "no combination of filters found to render the stream"

Please help...Just downloaded db power last night, am I missing something ?

Do you have RealPlayer installed? This codec requires the necessary support files that are installed with it to be installed.

If the .ram files are only 1 to 2 KB, then they (probably) cannot be converted. If you open them in notepad, you'll notice they contain an URL to a file on the web. If this URL starts with http:// then you're in luck - you can download this file and convert.

If it starts with a different protocol, then it uses RealNetwork's proprietory RealServer software, which means you can't download it, presumably to stop it from bein pirated.
