    Trial Version of Encoder Codec

    Hi,
can anyone enlighten me as to whether version 11 dbPowerAmp Music converter has a time limit on usage. The release details say that the mp3 encoder is on a trial license.

    Thanks

Due to lisencing fees demanded by patent owner Thompson, the mp3 encoder must now be paid for in order to be used after the 30-day trial runs out.
This trial is actually for the PowerPack & mp3 lisence, which includes other optimizations to dMC, such as "Rip to RAM" and "Rip & Convert at the Same Time", and various DSP effects.
