Hello everyone
I have read as many postings as I can but I am totally new to this and can't really find answers. Please excuse very basic questions
I have just downloaded dBpowerAMP and the wma 9.1 codec. I was given a home made cd with loads of mp3s which plays OK on my PC. I need to convert them and burn to cd to play on my ordinary cd players.
1. Should I have downloaded the wma 9 codec not 9.1
2. Is wma the best for playing on ordinary player
3. Do I need to change the settings which come up when I choose wma
4. Could any of the above cause my PC to crash and reset itself? Or is it more likely the running temperature as in other postings?
I have Windows Media Player 9 and run Windows XP Professional. I have only used about 1/6 of my memory so PC should be able to handle this shoudn't it?
Sorry if this is all too much! Many thanks in advance for any help.
