'convert to' struggling with umlaut?

'convert to' struggling with umlaut?

I have a number of tracks by Queensrÿche that I am trying to re-encode for an MP3 CD for the car. Convert To is converting them to files of the format QU4AAC~1.mp3. Is is likely to be the umlaut causing the problem?

Forget that, I don't think it's dMC that has the problem.
