    wma > mp3, ogg -> decompression error

    I'm trying to convert a wma file to mp3. I can rip CDs, and I've done conversions on other wma files, but I get this error each time I try, and it doesn't seem to matter what the target format is. I've also tried a few different bitrate settings and that didn't help either. I have registered dMC as well.

    CODEC decompression error for 'C:\Documents and Settings\Tim\My Documents\My Music\20050110_me_12.wma'

    I can listen to the file wma, but I want to put it on my mp3 player.

    Thanks for the help!

    Have you installed the wma codec?
    What is the bitrate, frequency, channels, and size of the wma file?

      Have you tried a test conversion for that .wma file?

        Is the WMA file protected?
