New FLAC 1.1.1 codec crashes GetPopupInfo.exe

The new FLAC version 5 (1.1.1) codec is crashing the GetPopupInfo.exe applet every time I delete a FLAC file. I'm using dBpowerAmp 11 with Windows XP Home SP2. After I clear the Windows error report popup the dBpowerAmp popup works properly again with no problems. I have no problems deleting other music file types - wav, shn, mp3 . . . just the FLAC files.

This problem did not happen with ver 10 or ver 11 when I was using the older 1.1.0 codec; it only started when I upgraded to the 1.1.1 FLAC codec.

I tried uninstalling dBpowerAmp and all my codecs and reinstalling again but I still have the same problem.

Any ideas what might be causing the problem? It's very annoying!

I have it on my buglist that a 0 byte .flac file will crash it also, it will be the same thing, will get around to it ASAP.

For now you could switch off the dBpowerAMP Popup info (dmc configuration).
