Unable to access due to open media player, when there's no player on at all!

i keep getting an error message when i try to convert my mp3s.

    this is one example.

Unable to access 'C:\Documents and Settings\ziew1\Desktop\mp3s\09 - Guns N Roses - November Rain.mp3', possibly media player has this file open, read support FAQ.

I get this despite having no player running at all. i've tried the support FAQ but it has nothing relevant.

    Need help real badly. :(

    thanks.

Are you converting from mp3 to mp3? or to what?

Are you using "same folder" for converted output? or delete original file after conversion? did you check Open as read only when you started dMC?
