[COLOR=DarkSlateBlue]They already dropped. You will find plenty of 20GB mp3 players for under $100 if you do a search....you could start at ebay, but search all the discount retailers as well.[/COLOR]

You just have to search a bit further! I easily found a Dell 20GB ("open box") one on eBay for a "buy it now" price of $99 earlier today. Of course, if you live outside the US, you may find prices higher

If you'll notice, he's referring to a portable HDD-based player. Also, the Dell Jubebox doesn't play ogg IIRC.

[COLOR=DarkGreen]OK...I forgot about the OGG, but one can't be too fussy for $100. Now, for ~$200 he could get a 20GB Rio Karma which does play OGG files. His original price limit was $150 so a litlle searching for a used one on eBay may come close.

That's my point. Players that support the Ogg Vorbis codec are SOOOOO friggin' expensive. I said earlier that I hoped that prices will drop by the time I turn 16.....so......

Well I like to experiment. Besides, I don't have ANY kind of portable player yet, cuz my parents won't buy me one... But when I get my MP3 CD Player, I want to learn somehow how to put the OGG codec into it....I don't care if my future MP3 CD Player looks abused or anything.....:lol:
