When convering .wma to .mp3 i get no change or even larger file size even when converting to 24 bit stream
Am I doing something wrong?

Making a 24-bit file from a 16-bit file won't improve the quality. That's why the file size is bigger or the same, but the quality is the same.Lt. Data

Dude, you're wasting your time and your hard drive. Just convert it to mp3 at the same bitrate at SIXTEEN bits, not TWENTY FOUR!
