MusicConverter.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.AppName: musicconverter.exe AppVer: 4.0.0.52 ModName: mp3.dll

At the end it is probbably writing the ID Tag - but the .temp means it is overwriting the original.

Can you try this - convert one of the file that crashes but convert it to C:\Converted Music or somewhere it will not overwrite the file being converted, does it work?

If it is under 10MB - send it to dbpoweramp@dbpoweramp.com and I will check it out.

                  convert .asf to .mp3

I got this error when I convert .asf to .mp3
It throws this error in 1-2 seconds.

Your asf file is probabbly protected, and dMC is not able to convert those files - hold the mouse over a .asf file - if it is it will say 'Is Protected: Yes'
