    dMC - Audio CD Options

My Rip To Folder option appears to be not quite right. If I use the browse thru folders feature to set the new convert to folder, it doesn't work and I can't type in the full address because the box limits how many characters I can type. What do I do?

Did you click Browse and select the folder you wanted, then click OK?

Let's try this again... posted along the wrong thought train...
How deep is the folder in your file structure? Is it just in C:\<blah> or is C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My documents\my music\ripped music\<blah>

Also, what OS are you using.

Re: dMC - Audio CD Options

          I'll run you thru it.

          1. I have Audio CD Input open.

          2. I click the Options button.

          3. In the "Rip to Folder" option I want to change my converted music folder from "D:\VEX\TUNES\Converted Music 5" to "D:\VEX\TUNES\Converted Music 6."

          4. I click the "Set" button which brings up the "Browse for folder" box. I surf to the Converted Music 6 folder, select it and click OK. Then I click OK for the dMC - Audio CD Options box, except that it does not save the location I selected.

          5. So, I open Options again and click on the address listed next to the Rip to Folder and try to type in the address of Converted Music 6 except that there is a character limit on that box which will not allow me to type in the full address.

I didn't have this problem until this latest release of dMC.

Re: dMC - Audio CD Options - BUG!

Yes, you are right! There's a bug there! It doesn't keep anything that is selected new. The only thing it keeps is what fits in the ltitle text window that is being displayed. It doesnt' allow typing more than that and it defintely doesn't allow selecting folders from teh browser - you go through that and it just doesn't take!

                      Happy New Year!!

Oddly, the folder I wanted to set as the conversion folder is now set and by no doing of my own. So, it's working now but I have no idea how....
