convert .asf to mp3?

I got an album of songs ""Jill Scott" and they were zipped up, but unzipped it turns out they were all in .asf format.

How do I convert to mp3

Can you play them in Windows Media Player (WMP)?
If so, your first try should be to download and install the WMA codec appropriate for your version of WMP (codecs for WMP 7,8 and 9 can be found in Codec Central, if you have WMP 10 install the WMA v9.1 codec from the beta test section of the forums).

If you cannot play these files, please let us know.
