How to convert WAV File tO MP3 file

Everytime i try to convert a song i made,to mp3 it says this The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\matt\My Documents\Matts Song(1).mp3.TEMP.mp3' could not be opened.

Is your recording a PCM wav 16-bit 44.1KHz 2-channel stereo file? If not, what is it?

What are the specs of the mp3 file you want to convert to? bits, bitrate, freq., channels?

Do you have the mp3 codec? If you have dMC R10 it is incldued. For R11 you need to get the PowrpAck in order to have the mp3 codecs.

You should make sure that dMC and everyhting else is installed to the same folder (Illustrate in program Files).
