    Two Conversions at Once?

Currently, I'm re-ripping all of my music CDs. They are being ripped to Monkeys, and then also converted to Ogg Vorbis. Is there a way I can do this conversion in one step instead of two? I think I remember reading a post about it, but I was unable to locate said post.

One problem with that is the second conversion doesn't get the proper filenames or tags. Is there a way to have these too?

Did you try it and it didn't create good filenames & tags? I'd have thought the same exact file naming and tagging would be used (if tagging applies)

But when you tell it to do the second conversion, you select the tracks off of the CD i.e. Track01 Track 02, etc.

Ah, I see, it's because it's using one instance of dMC Audio CD Input and another instance of dMC in the browser. The former gets information from freedb or whatever you've put in artists and album and things, while the latter doesn't.

Hmmm, sorry, I don't have a solution for this. Frankly, in that case, I'd think that it's easier to rip twice, first to one type, then to another type. Unless there's a hidden undocumented trick somewhere that hasn't made it into the FAQ section.

That's what I'm doing. Guess I'll keep doing it. Thanks anyways Christina.

On a side note... will it be a problem when I submit about.. 110 CDs and about 1020 tracks to Accurate Rip? :D

My guess is .... yes. Have you actually managed to callibrate your drive for ripping? maybe then you'd have some luck.

Well, have you tried it yet? I haven't managed to even set it up yet - finding key cd is like a needle in a haystack apparently - so I couldn't submit even if I wanted to. :D

Well I'm almost done now. Only got a few burned CDs to rip next.
*Looks at the four instances of dMC he's running currently* This may take a while.
Yes, four. Three converting Monkey's Audio files to ogg, one for ripping the CD. No i don't care that it will take forever.

                          Edit: Yes I'm crazy. And it's a 1.4GHz Pentium-M.

submitting 100 or 1000 cd's to spoons database using accuraterip shouldn't pose any problems. as it is all done online now with the click of a button.

and it has come a long way since spoon and i tested the first 200 odd cd's.

                            Discs in Database: 35075
                            Key Discs: > 20000
                            Accurately Ripped: 651101

Thanks for the reply Razgo. I just wanted to make sure that I would sumbit these CDs and not see Spoon post on the AccurateRip homepage "Do not submit over x CDs, please".
