    MP3 tags are not saved

    Hello,

I'm trying to change ID3 tags through right mouse button - Edit Tag and start changing. When I then press OK the program closes. When I then reopen the same way as the first time all fields are empty again.

    What can be wrong?

No the files are not read only. The strange thing is that when I added these files to Itunes that I saw the MP3 tags but dbPowerAmp is not able to show them.

      What can be wrong then?

Itunes might have tagged them strangely, please send one such file to:

I've come across quite a few files that in recent versions of dMC that refuse to have a track title longer than 30 characters, no matter what the dMC ID Tag settings are. Sending a sample over..

Your file had an ID3v1 tag which is only 30 characters. Depending upon what program is used (if dBpowerAMP then use the smart APE2 / ID3v1 option), if another program such as itunes or WMP then the tag will have to be updated to id3v2.

Oh, I was under the impression that selection of 'Smart v1/v2' (or Ape) was supposed to automatically write a v2 tag if the data could not fit into an existing v1 tag. Add to wishlist, then!
