When I select -alt preset CBR, the output file is always 128 kbps. It doesn't matter what I set the slider to on the front of the Converter. Am I missing something....or is this a bug?

Well if it's a bug, it doesn't affect me.
Care to give a bit more info?- What version of DMC are you using?
- What OS are you using?

Power Pack = Release 3
Lame = 3.93 alpha 2
Windows 2000
I believe the problem might also happen with Lame 3.92. I use Lame 3.93 because 3.92 and 3.91 have a strange problem:
An MP3 file created using Lame 3.92 or 3.91 will not show up in the recepient's e-mail in Outlook XP. Actually, the file will show up; but with no filename or extension. All the end user will see is the MS-DOS icon and a filesize in parenthesis....no filename. Very odd problem. When I use a different encoder such as the crappy Xing encoder, the problem goes away. The problem also vanished when I changed to the Lame 3.93 dll.Comment
