o.k., I need help.. WMA to Wav

I downloaded Windows media 9, then updated to win media 10...
I downloaded the new dmc-r10....did exactly as it said in the Beta section, I installed the wmav9.1 and the wmfdist95.....everything installed perfectly....
so I right clicked and tried to convert....

I'm trying to convert a Wma file with these specs....
    34kbps
    16bit
    2channels
    44khz

what I want to make is a Wav file with these settings.....
    Wav Mpeg layer 3, 24bit 11,025kbps Stereo 2kb/sec

when I do, it comes up this error:
The file type '.wma' does not stream audio data and cannot be converted.

    what am I doing wrong?
and what can I do to get this file to Wav?
    Thanks, Skinny

o.k., I think I have it figured out.. lol..
I uninstalled EVERYTHING... including Windows media player.....
    then re-installed Windows media player 9... re-started....
I went with all of the codecs for 9......
installed all of those... re-started once again....
the thing I did wrong was I had the "Winamp" codec in the wrong folder..
I had it in the main Winamp folder in illistrate/dbpoweramp/winamp...
it should have been in the illistrate/dbpoweramp/winamp/winampin folder lol...
but after that, I tried again... and WAH LAH~~!! I got it!!
    finally lol..
for anyone who has problems, try this....:-))
    worked for me!
    Thanks, Skinny
